Terms of Service for Jornl

Please read these Terms of Service (Terms) carefully before using the Jornl.app website and web application (the Service) operated by Jornl (we, us, or our).

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms.

1. Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide us with information that is accurate and complete. You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree to notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

2. Subscriptions and Payment

• Free Trial: We offer a 7-day free trial for new users. After the trial period, you will need to provide payment information to continue using the Service.
• Billing: The Service is billed on a subscription basis (Subscription). You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis (monthly).
• Payment Processing: All payments are processed by our third-party Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy. We do not handle or store your credit card information.
• Cancellations: You may cancel your Subscription at any time. The cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.

3. User Content

You retain ownership of all of your intellectual property rights in your User Content. We do not claim ownership over any of your User Content. These Terms do not grant us any licenses or rights to your User Content except for the limited rights needed for us to provide the Service to you.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any laws in your jurisdiction. You will not upload any content that is malicious, fraudulent, or infringes on the rights of others.

5. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by using the account deletion feature in your profile settings.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an AS IS and AS AVAILABLE basis. We make no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Jornl be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of [the State of Delaware, United States], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days`` notice before any new terms take effect.
